Medicare annual enrollment period (AEP) is from October 15 - December 7. Changes made during this period are effective January 1. If you're eligible for Medicare due to age, this period begins three months before you turn 65, includes the month you turn 65 and ends three months after you turn 65. Coverage begins the month after you sign up.
